It is the policy of the Yorktown Athletic Club to offer refunds to those families that choose not to participate in a sport for which they have registered their child. If you request a refund because your child chooses or cannot participate in a sport for which they are registered, the Yorktown Athletic Club Refund Policy is as follows:
A 50% refund of the sport registration fee is given if requested before player evaluations are completed or in cases where evaluations are not conducted, before the first practice. The YAC Annual Family Registration Fee is non-refundable.
There will be NO REFUND after the first practice of the season has been conducted. Again, the YAC Annual Family Registration Fee is non-refundable.
If, before the start of the season, your child becomes unable to participate in a YAC sport for which they are registered due to injury, please request a refund through the link below, noting that the refund is being requested due to injury and a full refund (less 5% credit card processing fee) will be arranged. Notification that your child is unable to participate in a YAC sport due to injury will result in your child not being able to participate in ANY Yorktown Athletic Club sports due to that injury.
Refunds will only be processed through submitting a refund request form online. This form is located under the refund tab. The Commissioner of the Sport will need to approve the refund request before it can be paid. The date of your request will determine the amount of the refund.
